Outlook 2011.

Time Machine backup everything except outlook 2011 Database file. Tried to rebuild the Database, tried to run TM with no applications running.

In the TM backup, Office 2011 Identities -> Main Identities folder, Data Records folder is there and fully backuped.

How do I backup this database file with TM.

Please help.

It's proper for the Microsoft Office Database to be excluded from Time Machine

Time Machine won't backup Outlook database …

That's normal, intended by Microsoft.

The database file bears an attribute that excludes the file from Time Machine backups. Run the following command in Terminal, it should show the exclusion:

Code:
mdfind "com_apple_backup_excludeItem = 'com.apple.backupd'" | grep -i Microsoft
