Hi
I have Mac 10.5.1, and for some reasons, my Time Machine no longer works. When I open it, it says unexpected error occurred!
How can I get it again?
Also, just another question, if I use the Leopard DVD that came with it, to repair my computer, would I lose data files?
Thanks

Could be a number of things. Maybe something you installed last, addons, also when was the last time you shut down your computer. If the external hard drive was working before you "might" have to reformat your external HD. Maybe your External HD went bad, you could run diagnosic to see. If you have different partions on the external HD, hook it up to another computer (prefferably mac) and see if you could access your data.

Is the external able to mount? Can you access anything else from the external with your computer. LIke another partition? Running disk repairing might help. let us know
