I am curious can I use Time Machine to clone my hard drive.

Lets say, I buy a macbook air. I do not feel like reinstalling what I have on my computer. So I connect Time Machine and it recovers what is saved on Time Machine?

You would have trouble getting a Firewire hard drive to do Time Machine. (The Air has no Firewire port)
