Hi,

I see in Time Machine folder (the folder which I back up to), it creates an extra folder called Macintosh HD 1.

(My folders are Macintosh HD, Macintosh HD Data, Recovery and Macintosh HD 1)

*This happens after a clean install.

Any fix for this ?

Thanks, John.

Thanks but sorry, I didn't get you. The issue is that the extra folder Macintosh HD1, in my previous backups it doesn't existed at all.

Could it be that you've changed the HD ,reformat it or installed a new OS in the past?

Is the phenomena repeated when you delete the TM backup and make a clean TM backup?

Yes, that happened after clean install.
Do you mean to erase my Backup disk and to make a new backup from scratch ?

Yes, that happened after clean install.

I assume that's why there's another HD , called HD 1.
Out of curiosity you could erase and make a new backup, but I'm very certain this TM backup will work as it's supposed to be in case you'll need it .
