It's an OS environment with lots of already purchased software. It's not as easy as changing socks.

Why are you purposefully being so dense?

Not try to be dense or augmentative. But, there are usually options on any OS. Sorry if that is not the case for you.+

Usually they release by the end of October. They do this to prepare for the holiday season. I would say we have until Friday. If nothing happens, worst case scenario could be beginning of next week.

say no-thanks to subscription models. If there is ANY option available, I'll go that route. I doubt I am alone.
I agree, but yet here I am paying monthly for Adobe and Microsoft. In the case of MS, I feel like I'm getting value for my money. I have a 1TB of cloud storage, I can run Office on 5 different computers/tablets I use skype.

On the other hand, I'm a amateur photographer, and I'm struggling over the subscription of Adobe. I'm not sure I see the value of paying monthly for that. If Adobe raises their prices on the bundle I pay, that will be enough to cancel it.

I had other subscriptions but I've been largely successful in finding alternatives.

I am paying for the same subscriptions.

With Office 365 I agree, definitely worth the money. I really like have Exchange deal with all of the backend issues integration issues.

I have the Adobe Lightroom/Photoshop suite. Having purchased updates for these separately I know it it is less for the subscription. And nothing I have found so far tops them for feature and ease of use. Plus I get both Windows and Mac versions which I had to by separately. The best deal with Adobe is to take a class at a local college. Then you can get all of their products for $25/mo instead of $60/mo.
