Hey,
So I got my iPad 2 (White, 32GB Wifi if that helps) in early June, and immediately noticed that the screen had both backlight bleeding (affecting dark screens) and some yellow marking around the edges (affecting light screens). However, I decided to give it a few weeks as I knew that the problem was probably to do with the glue. And then I read that the problem was widespread so I left it. (Edit: problem has not fixed itself since June). However, the case has been giving me slight issues. To the right of the home button is quite often a tad lose, and clicks under a slight press so isn't fully secured, which is annoying (although has settled down recently).

Today however I've been having some problems with my iPad. I tried to unlock it, when it just crashed and tried to reboot. This took 5 mins so I thought something was amiss, and turned it off. It immediately started trying to reboot again. I did this 5 times until it finally managed to boot. What was really strange though was that on every boot screen was white flashes a few pixels across in different locations on the screen.

I haven't been able to reproduce the issue, but I don't want a dud and with the screen issues I really would like a replacement. However will the new screens be any better? I mean, I paid £600 inc. for it, so it should be pretty perfect.

Live in a city that doesn't have one I'm afraid (seriously, why does Scotland's capital city not have an Apple Store?). Would a Premium Reseller do?

If no apple store, an authorised reseller can help. (stormfront, for example)
