MP 1,1-5,1 Time to upgrade from 1,1 to 5,1

So my Mac Pro that is considered as 2,1 with 32gb of RAM started to give me random cpu kernal panics along with the new flashing light on my Mac Pro that is unable to boot anymore. I do Music production along with Photography. Will the 8 core 5,1 work? I really don’t want to spend more than $600 for one which will be a stretch during this time.

you may have a failed ram stick or two. Check for red lights on the Ram boards. You can also pull one of the ram boards to troubleshoot.
