I have been using a 6s for the past three years. It still works great and I just had the battery replaced.

Honestly, there is no need to upgrade. Howeve, I have been wanting a new phone. If I am going to upgrade, it will be a 128 gb iPhone XR. I can trade in the 6s for $200.

Would this be a good upgrade for 600 bucks?

Also, my carrier, xfinity mobile offers 200 off if I port in a number. Should I go that route instead? Won’t be able to use my current number with the new phone for a while to qualify for the promo though.

The iOS experience isn’t so different though.

The iOS experience is not much different, but you’re receiving a completely new hardware package with Face ID, full display, form factor and camera capabilities. I think this would be a substantial upgrade.
