TimeCapsule as WiFi HD (instead TimeMachine)?

Hi,
so now that i know it's not really possible to have a dual setup for timemachine and harddrive with timecapsule i was curious if it was possible to just use it as normal harddrive over wifi? or is it only restricted for use with timemachine?
 
Sure, you can use it as a wifi hard drive. I use it that way and have all other Windows based PCs connect to it to share files. You don't need to use Time Machine. Only the speed of transfer rate is a draw back.
