Any recommendations for a goof timeline maker?

I tried Aeon Timeline V2 but it has a ways to go to be truly useful. Right now, there appears o be no way to set preferences for things like date format, color coding, start date, etc. In addition, you can't move things around with a date so once the software decides on the order of items for a specific date there is no way to rearrange them short of changing the date.

Huh? I use Aeon Timeline and have none of the issues you cite.

Hmm, then I must be doing something wrong. If you don't mind, how do you:

Change the default color for an event? Right now, whatever color I choose first stays the default from then on. (Edit - found out how to that)

Move an event below another that occurs on the same day without creating a parent - child relationship?
- For Example, if I create an event of say 31 MAR 16 and then create another one that Timeline puts after it I cannot move it in front of the existing one if needed. Even if I try to do them sequentially it randomly places them on the timeline for that day. Based on my Google searches this is not yet possible in Timeline.

I could not find how to do those things in the manual.

Thanks.
