I just got my 256 Crucial M4 and my Optibay. So I was wondering does Time Machine backup aliases, say I create an Alias to my Downloads, Movies and Music Folder to the Optibay HDD, will Time Machine back those up?

Also I've read something about Symbolic Links, would one be better than the other in this case?

On a side note I clean installed Lion and one thing that I found peculiar was that booting from the Lion ESD CD took like 5-6 Minutes to load.. Did anyone else experience that?
