What is this icon in place of the TimeMachine icon in the menu bar?

It appears to be a glitch of the Time Machine and battery icon. Does it still appear like that even after you restart your machine?

It went away after I restarted.

Happy to know that a restart fixed it. It seems that it was just a neat little glitch. Nothing to be worried about unless it happens much more often. Then it's a bug for Apple to fix.
