One of my favorite features of having my watch is being able to say "Hey Siri, start a timer for 5 minutes" or "Hey Siri, start the stopwatch" when I'm cooking. It used to work flawlessly, where I could see that it started and I move on, and when I check it, the app is already launched and shows up.

But now, I've noticed in the past couple of weeks, it doesn't launch the app automatically. Once I go away from the initial Siri screen where I started, I now have to go find the Timer and Stopwatch apps and open them...

Anyone else experience this/have any fixes/workaround ideas?

When Siri Show the timer/countdown, just touch it and the corresponding app will launch ;)

Thanks! I'll give that a try! Although, I kinda still wish I didn't have to do that, especially if my hands are all greasy or whatever from cooking.

You can also ask Siri to open Timer/Stopwatch instead of using your fingers.
