Bug. Timer doesn’t work if Lock Screen time (30 sec) and timer (30sec) are the same.

Put down IPhone near you and don’t look at him. iPhone se, 7,8 don’t have this bug

I have an iPhone X.. My phone doesn't do anything abnormal. I tried it looking at the lock screen and not looking at it and it counts down normally. I seems this bug doesn't effect all phones

Lol. Engineers confirmed this bug as mass

Try not to see and hold on hand. Just turn on and put near u

Already have, multiple times. I set the timer. I put the phone away from me where it can’t possibly see me and it works perfectly.

I also tried locking the screen immediately after I set the timer and it still works perfectly.

I’m not saying the bug doesn’t exist, I’m sure it does, I am saying that I’ve tried what you’ve done and it works fine for me. I hope you get it sorted. However, knowing Apple, I wouldn’t hold my breath.

a variety of iPhones 11 and 12, iOS 14.5.x here at my work place are also unaffected. None shows this bug.

I don't even understand what this means. If I want to start a timer, I'd tap my screen, swipe down from the top right to access Control Center, tap on the Timer shortcut at the bottom, set the time I want and tap Start. What does the lock screen have to do with this? The Lock Screen always shows the same countdown as the timer.
