    Hi,

we’re a new developer team and are proud to present "TimeStamps" - an app for easy time recording. The beautifully designed user interface makes it very easy to keep record over working hours and overtime. Ideal for both employees and self-employed.

TimeStamps distinguishes between working times, business travel, visiting a doctor or break time. Depending on these settings the working time is calculated. Even a forecast for the remaining work will be displayed - and automatically adjusted if the actual pause time has been longer. This way, you have always an overview of your working times.

Daily and weekly statistics that give information about the average working time or overtime are also included.

And in case you have forgotten to record a time - that’s no problem for TimeStamps. Incorrect entries can be corrected as well and the type of booking can be changed, too. Configuration of the working hours is also possible, after all not everyone is working from nine to five, five days a week.

At just $0.99, TimeStamps is already a popular download in Germany, Austria and Switzerland - and also an Apple Staff Pick in the German App Store. We hope you will also like it in the U.S.!

Is there a backup functionality for this app so that I can save a record of all the hours logged somewhere besides within the app itself?

I'm using Time Master to log my hours of freelance work right now but their backup solution is inelegant. It requires the manual saving of the data to a dropbox account and the manual reloading it from the same account when you want to access it again. I'm looking for something that offers the ability to perform automatic background backups and be able to store them "off-site" like dropbox but still have the ability to load them up without going through so many steps.

We are sorry, currently only the export of your time recordings via HTML or CSV is implemented.

Perhaps we will provide an easy to use backup via iCloud in a future version.

iCloud backups for your app would be AMAZING. I'm running iOS 5 beta at the moment but so far the iCloud backup functionality has yet to be fully activated (aside from having my camera stored up in the cloud). I look forward to trying your app out.

TimeStamps 1.1 has just been released!

    Hi!

We're proud to report we just released a major new version of TimeStamps! It contains many new features, including vacation and holidays, and of course countless little things and minor bug fixes.

    What's new in version 1.1:

    Work-free days
Holidays, leave days and sick days are now an integral part of TimeStamps. Thus, on these work-free days there will be no default work and break time. However, TimeStamps does not prevent that you still record times. So you can still work on holidays or leave days and keep track of it with TimeStamps.

    Day and minute-standard work week
The work and break time for each day of a default work week is definable to the minute. Also working without a break is possible with a single click. The setting of default times can later be changed individually for each day. It is therefore unlike earlier no longer generally valid. This makes changing the number of work hours easy, if you eg change the employer or change from a 40 to a 38.5 hour work week.

    Automatic break
Specified in the default work week, the default break can be automatically deducted as the minimum break at the end of a day. If the break time is exceeded, of course, the larger value is taken. Whether the automatic pause is applied is shown by a symbol within TimeStamps.

    Further improvements
    • New help system
    • Many small bug fixes
    • New icon

If you like TimeStamps, please tell your colleagues, friends and relatives! And we are always thankful for a a positive rating in the App Store.
