One thing I didn't get was it was the Tracy Jordan Show, but it's shortened named was TGS, what did the G stand for? Just curious, and I didn't find it that funny. I do think Tina Fey is funny, but the click not so much.
 
It's true that 30 Rock is way hit or miss. I've seen a couple episodes that were just hilarious, but it seems that most I've seen are not that funny.

I wonder if most of what you've seen has been from this season...Season 3 has definitely been hit or miss, especially the episodes with the guest stars. Seasons 1 and 2 were solid...

Tracy wasn't part of the 'show' until later...Jenna was the main character.

I agree. The ones with guests are always the best, or the ones that feature Alec Baldwin more. The regular cast isn't that good, I don't think.
 
The show in general is good and that episode had some good jokes. The Jobs parody was decent but the JGS thing was horrible and really ruined the gag.
