I just purchased a 13" macbook pro and it has the newest magsafe adapter which feels a bit difficult to pull out. Ive been real careful when inserting and removing the cable but it still seems to have caused a tiny chip right above the charge port. Any ideas on how to prevent this? [IMG][/IMG]

Aluminium is soft so it will ding and scratch. You pretty much have to either be careful or use skin/hardcase.

well ive had stationary since i bought it so i didnt bang it against something. Im positive it happened when inserting or taking out the charge cable. Since its magnetic, i feel it grind in there when i put it in or try to take it out.

I'm pretty sure it didn't chip itself.

Anyways, I have a dozen dings and chips on my machine where I have no idea how they came to be.
