Tiny Umbrella fail

My iphone 3gs, is not working, ive tried to restore it and i always get either error number 9 or 6, ive tried on other computers different usb ports and cords. i cam across tiny umbrella and all it does is freeze on the one screen saying it is unable to find a few things and intializing greenpoinson. i think the phone is stuck in dfu mode and i dont know how to get it out because my power button is broken so i cant hold it down. any ideas

I don't think you can do anything with a broken power button so I would get that repaired first or attempt it myself (if you are daring enough) before trying the jailbreaking again

im not trying to jailbreak i am simply just trying to make the phone usable
