Just upgraded. The text in apps looks fine, like the webpage I have open right now. The problem is that the global system text is awful. The menu text is small and muddled, even the Safari address bar and bookmarks menu look like size 8 font. It's giving me a headache!

I looked through all the options, is there really no way to increase the global text size?

I'm using an older model A1081 20" Cinema display with 1680x1050 resolution for reference. On my MBA's screen with text smoothing OFF it looks passable (much sharper) but still too small.

Same Issue

Perhaps no one over 40 worked on the is project? The Safari tool bars are impossibly small font.... There must be a way to make it larger.... Help.

Have you tried playing with turning font smoothing on and off, increasing contrast, and turning transparency off?
