Recently, I discovered a tiny white spot appeared on my rMBP screen. It is not noticeable when it comes to movie watching or photo editing. But the spot becomes obvious when I am surfing the net as most of the websites are blank in that area. I am afraid that the spot may become larger or more spots will be developed later on. Is It a manufacturing flaw or the result of daily usage? Does any rMBP user encounter the same issue?

Should I take my rMBP to the Apple store to have a check on it? Thanks.

Typically in the past when this occurred it was because the retaining clamps used to secure the LCD were over-tighened. That being the case, they'd never go away. I'm not sure if this is the exact cause in the rMBP but since you're seeing white spots and you paid a lot of money for the laptop, it doesn't hurt to have apple look at it.

Ive got about 4 in the bottom right, they don't bother me but I'm getting the screen replaced for IR nonetheless.
