'Tiny Wings' 2.0 and iPad Version Now Available

I went and bought this game because he's doing this.

It worked just fine in my iPhone and iPad version last night. The only bug I encountered was achievements not activating right away, like they would update on the iPad version but not on the iPhone version even though they were achieved.

Any way we can donate to this guy?

Well, it's hard to make it a paid upgrade when Apple doesn't allow you to make paid upgrades. You'd need to make a whole new app, which means losing all settings, etc.

He could have made an in-app purchase, however. I'm glad he made it a free update, though!

The HD version is fantastic! Looks stunning and the fact that the iPad/iPhone version syncs your scores and stats is lovely!!

Looks like I'm headed over to purchase Tiny Wings HD as a 'thankful nod' to the developer.

I originally got the game free on my jailbroken iphone. I still have it jailbroken, but felt I wanted to pay the buck to get this game because of the free update and the hours I actually spent playing it.

It's working now, I didn't have documents and data sync enabled.

Good on them for making this a free update! I'm going to buy the iPad version just out of appreciation (also so that I can use my iPad for something...)

Despite the fact that the iPhone version looks great in X2 mode on the iPad and (at least for me) I don't like having two versions of the same app (iPhone and iPad), it's hard not to want to buy the HD version anyways. This is a nice story.

If this update were 4.99 I would have still bought it! Just so happens, out of the hundred games I have for my 3Gs, ONLY TINY WINGS and BattleHeart remain on my device, as I decided to "get rid of the distractions that were slowing down my device".

For me, it's Tiny Wings over Angry Birds any time. Angry Birds just sucks on a small screen. Tiny Wings is purrrrfect!

If I had an iPad, I'd get the HD version in a heartbeat as well.
