Tinyumbrella question?

Hi all,
I'm currently on 5.0 and on vacation so it's hard for me to update to 5.0.1. I ran Tinyumbrella and it says the blobs are saved for 5.0.1. Also in cydia states the same 5.0.1 is saved.

This means that even if 5.0.2 is releases I can always update to 5.0.1 and jailbreak, correct?

Depends when your SHSH was saved.

in order to restore to 5.01 when it is no longer signed you'll need the SHSH and the APticket. In older versions of TU the last was not saved.

I don't know if cydia will save only the SHSH or also the APticket.

Anybody has a answer to that one?

TinyUmbrella always saves all of the SHSH blobs that Apple is signing at that time even if you're not running that version of iOS.

That is not completely true, cydia did not save shsh for 5.01 until last week read the above

You didn't say anything in the original post about that. i assumed this was the first time you had ran tinyumbrella since ios 5.0.1 was released. But to answer your question, yes.

I downloaded and ran tinyumbrella yesterday so I would guess he saved my blobs plus apticket.
