Hi all,

Noticed several posts in this forum on tips to share, transfer or convert video formats and would love to offer a tip, although, be warned, it's biased as I work with RealNetworks! [full disclosure]

Wanted to share a new tool that easily downloads and converts any video--from home movies to your favorite Web clips regardless of file size or format -- to your iPhone or iPod Touch. Here’s a quick how-to video to get you started: http://bit.ly/4A4W3c

The new RealPlayer SP can convert videos in almost any format—including Flash, Windows Media, QuickTime & RealVideo—and automatically optimizes them for your handset in exactly two easy steps. Since the original beta launch this summer, we’ve seen over 32 million people download RealPlayer SP, and over 100 million videos have been downloaded using the product. You can find the free version at http://www.realplayer.com. Try it out -- would love to hear any feedback you might have about RealPlayer SP and the kinds of clips you're downloading.

Thanks for your feedback Zyniker! There are several media players available that can either download video or convert or transfer video - RealPlayer offers all three and is probably the easiest way to timeshift video. Just want you to give it a shot if you haven't tried the latest version.
