Hi all,
any tips / settings that we should know about for faster internet browsing? I have a cable line w/ a linksys router. The Touch is a bit slower than my desktop (which is understandable) but it seems awfully slow sometimes.

any tips / settings advice would be really appreciatted.

Obviously the closer you are to the router the better.
Clear your cache and history regularly.
Restart Safari if you keep getting eally slow connections.
Turning your touch off (and I mean OFF not sleep) and then back on again sometimes helps as well.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPod; U; CPU like Mac OS X; en) AppleWebKit/420.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.0 Mobile/4A102 Safari/419.3)

I've actually been thinking about this alot lately as some of my favorite sites (engadget, gizmodo, digg) are VERY slow to load and often crash safari. So I just turned off javascript and plugins and all 3 sites are performing much better now. I remember seeing when the iPhone first came out how pitiful the javascript performance was and I'm sure that's still the case, so I think turning that off significantly sped up my browsing!

I am getting much better Internet performance now. Much faster overall.

Almost on par with my desktop. Well not really, but much better than before.
