Just some tips for new posters. When you ask a question, please include the following information:

• mac model, ram and hdd capacity
• Software you have available and version number
• Peripherals
• Equipment you have available to use (cameras, microphones, cables, etc)
• Budget (money)
• Budget (time)
• Required output
• Quality required (BBC, film festival , YouTube , DVD for grandma, lolcats)

Much of this can be permanently on display in your signature block.
