I wasn't aware Amazon owned the rights to use one click technology and licensed it out.
Yes, only in the US.

Just order the Sim-Free if it's available, or the T-Mobile version. When buying the T-Mobile version from Apple, it is fully unlocked and just comes with a sim preinstalled. I got the T-Mobile version when the 6 launched and I just popped the T-Mobile sim out and put my AT&T sim in and it worked perfectly. So the question is can you order a AT&T version full retail from the Apple site on preorder night??
Sure you can. At least for the last 3 I've owned that were subsidized (3gs, 4s, and 5s). (I started with the original, which was not subsidized.) All were AT&T.
hopefully the 2 year contract verizon option will be available on apple.com.

Even if it doesn't, you can always head to an AT&T store and they'll have no problem giving you a new proper sim for free. I think you need to get a new one anyway if you want to take advantage of HD Voice, but the phone will work with your 5 SIM fine, just without HD voice. Thanks for the tip, it looks like that's what I'll be doing if I can avoid ordering from AT&T's god awful piece of junk excuse for a website.
I guess if iPhone 6S will still use nano sims, I can just use my iPhone 5's sim card.
Does anyone here change the billing address for their CC to work so they can have it shipped to their work? How long would I need to leave it changed? Just when I place the order?
That's what I did last year. Just leave it until they ship your phone I guess. I accidentally left mine all year, but it didn't really affect anything.
Look like the best option is to have both available. But I think we all can agree that the carrier sites have always been the most troublesome.Granted I did not order the SGS, I used the apple store app for the apple watch and got in before the website even went live for me. I do the force quit method to make it reload.
I would love to order through the app but can't. Says it requires iOS 8 or later ...
Why?
Why does an app like that require iOS 8, makes no sense.
Well, it does make sense. It's a fairly new app, and I think they wrote it in Swift. They also want people using up-to-date software.
Anybody have any idea what time it'll be available to preorder through Verizon?
should be around the same time. 12 midnight pst.Anybody have any idea what time it'll be available to preorder through Verizon?
A little out of the post. But:
I can pay a full price for unlocked right on pre order day? (Basically the availability of unlocked phone is possible?) I have tmobile.
Their website has worked flawlessly for me-specially when it opened ~7 minutes ahead of schedule and allowed me to order ahead of a gazillion others last year. Thanks AT&T!Thanks for the tip, it looks like that's what I'll be doing if I can avoid ordering from AT&T's god awful piece of junk excuse for a website.

Except last year when AT&T went live ~7 minutes early last year.Look like the best option is to have both available. But I think we all can agree that the carrier sites have always been the most troublesome.
