I have had the Series 0, 2, and 4 now. I am likely missing a tip that makes it easier dictating messages (e.g editing the message) than cancelling and redoing it. Perhaps there is a command to edit the message?

If you tap on a word it will put a blue or green box around that word and you can use the wheel on the side to view different words that it thinks you might have said.
Thanks, I will try that. I have not noticed that option before. I have been cancelling and redoing the dictation until it was correct.

Also set pre set responses to a few things your normally say or quip back with.

There’s also voice response as well, if you want to go full Dick Tracy.
I use the preset responses sometimes but they are usually too brief.

I use speech to text and it works well for me most the time. You need to loo before you hit the send button for sure.
Yes, It works about 60-70% of the time but I usually don't want to send it with the completely wrong word. Haha

In case you missed it, CaptMarvel is saying you can make your own. I have done several replies I use frequently.
Yes, I have filled added a few new ones but I rarely use them.
Has anyone tried this?? On my watch (S4), it will just send if I tap the screen after composing with voice.
I just tested this...

If I raise my hand and say "Text (name) hi". The watch shows a mock showing "Ok, I'll send this (Messages) To: (name) Hi with only 1 option to pick "don't send" and I cannot click on the word to change it.

However, sending a message from the message app, it will automatically send the message without confirming the message.

In your testing; did you find any situations where it did work?

Not once. I started testing by messaging myself than sending someone else for testing this.

If I tap the word to attempt to change the word, it will automatically send the message than click the send button. There is only a cancel button.

I attempted to send myself:

"this is a test... delete".

-This is a test (was correct)... somehow it said "Tweet" than delete and when I tapped it and it sent "This is a test Tweet".

Yes, it works fine pressing the delete button using the scribble option but that is slow compared with dictation. I still cannot edit dictated messages.
Yea trying the tip now it seems to ONLY work for me in scribble - any advise from those that have this working with dictation?

You can also set up some quick replies. I find they can be set up to answer like 80% of mosts texts (my workflow may differ from yours and other users)

is it possible to send audio messages?
[doublepost=1539936374][/doublepost]ok, sorry. i noticed that after pairing/unpairing the last time the setting relevant to audio messages was turned off.. maybe this is why i wasn't able to send audio messages.

i'll try again later

For me, Scribble is a hidden gem for short replies.
Yes, this is still the only way to make an accurate text and it is annoying. Dictated texts still do not work great because I cannot edit without redictating. I thought a word could be held on and edited before. Not all that interested to send a nonsensical text if I can't edit it.
