Hey everybody. I just signed for a package that came for my parents and i entered the serial number. it is a new mac book. I was wondering if you guys could explain to me some of the major differences between Windows and OSX Leapord? I opened the box and was playing arround with it when my parents were gone. Thank god for heat guns, i never found a good use for mine before i had to re-shrinkwrap the mac. So any tips or tutorials would help. Thanks.

You opened someone else's package? Tsk tsk... that will get you jail time in certain states....

Sec. 1702. Obstruction of correspondence

Whoever takes any letter, postal card, or package out of any post
office or any authorized depository for mail matter, or from any
letter or mail carrier, or which has been in any post office or
authorized depository, or in the custody of any letter or mail
carrier, before it has been delivered to the person to whom it was
directed, with design to obstruct the correspondence, or to pry
into the business or secrets of another, or opens, secretes,
embezzles, or destroys the same, shall be fined under this title or
imprisoned not more than five years, or both.

i think your parents will figure it out when they turn it on and it's already set up with your name. Bad move, dude.

Do you know you just committed a 589? Obstruction of the mail service is a pretty serious offense fella!;)

I'm confused. Do your parents not care that you opened their package, or do they, because you mentioned shrink wrap.

If they do care, and you're trying to play with something that isn't yours, we can't help you.

You know if that was a christmas present you just ruined it for yourself.

When my kids did that when they were younger, I took the thing back to the store and that was one less thing they got. Sounds mean I know but they learned a lesson from it.

I hope your parents aren't like that and if they are I hope they don't notice.
