iPhone 12 Pro Max TIRED OF ENTERING ID

Tired of entering ID at least 100 times a day while wearing mask
And rumor has it that there will NOT be a dual Face ID and Touch ID iPhone this year
If this is true it’s very disappointing as I always thought Apple had the customer needs as a top priority
Apple wake up we need underscreen TOUCH ID not everyone has an Apple Watch that can unlock their iPhone
In a pandemic people can’t afford to buy a watch right now
Hopefully Apple isn’t reverting to their old philosophy ‘they’ll buy what we give them’
Hopefully the rumors are false

you can all ways trade in your iPhone 11 pr Max and get a iPhone SE Problem solved
 
Nail on the head there OP, we're in a pandemic. Globally. Due in part to restrictions and just in general trying to avoid the RONA, I'm out and about much less, therefore, the amount of times I need to unlock with a mask are way fewer than when I don't have a mask on. So it's a non issue for me. I like Face ID personally a lot better than Touch ID

Maybe turn off FaceID and unlock code?

Well, you're already buying one and a half products to do what Apple could make function in ONE product if they choose to.

As great as the Apple Watch is for certain things it's also a pretty obvious marketing ploy to make you buy more. There are things the Watch does that Apple could do on the phone itself. They just choose not to. Easier to make more money in selling the watch, by making the same argument you are now.

In light of that, entering your passcode to unlock is probably not that big of a deal - at least I don't think it is.

Alternatively, leave it turned on, but change "Require Password Immediately" to an appropriate time.

The form over function problem of Apple. Oh well Samsung Galaxy has in screen touch sensor that Apple will copy later.
