Tired of that gigantic black bezel!

IF this is what the macbook pro looked like I would buy it instantly. But the 13" and 15" macbook pros have a ridiculously huge bezel. Only the 17" has a halfway decent bezel. Why is this?

Your mock-up is twice as ugly as the current bezel. I like it how it is. It matches the curve of the keyboard. A little smaller wouldn't bother me, but i like the screen to have a frame.

I think it is so they can bevel the screen edge to make the computer look thinner at certain angles

Bezel= wider case= more room for the keyboard, at least with the 13" model.

That's a plus in my book.
