Any gamers here playing Titanfall 2? Is it worth it, for a new first person shooter player?

Looking forward to everyone's feedback. Thanks

Thanks.

Never played the original, and just starting to get used to the First Person Shooter games. I'm just finishing up with The Division, so looking for another first person shooter game. Hence the thread ;)

I just completed the second mission so I don't have much of an opinion on it as yet but from what I've played everything feels tighter than the original and thats a start.

Bless

Smooth gameplay and graphically is a gorgeous game. The reviews were an average 9.2, which is very good. You might find it discounted if you search around. Good luck.

The single player campaign has running and precision jumping - I hate games with precision jumping (though the Elite Controller does make it tolerable).

I haven't played online yet (my Internet is down), but it is probably better and hopefully like the old one.

The original is only $8 - you may want to go with that...

I've heard nothing but great things about the Titanfall series, especially Titanfall 2. May have to be my next purchase behind FF XV. That $35 deal is far too good to pass up!

I was hoping with the Free play this weekend, one could try Titanfall 2. But, you're have to own the game and then you can play multiplayer for free this weekend.

Maybe I'll just spend the $35. I hope I like the bloody game. I've payed $59.99 for some games and it was a waste of money.

I gave in, I just purchased Titanfall 2, for Xbox One $35.99.
Now, if only I can learn to shoot and jump (run walls) properly, I'll be fine...

Anyone else playing Titanfall 2? Apparently, this weekend is free for Multiplayer online. I wonder how much it is normally...?

After the past few hours game play, it is evident it will take me a moment to get used to Titanfall 2.
How many times did I die falling from the walls, or getting killed?

Yeah...

There are these 'ticks' in the game, bloody gross and annoying to kill...
Stuck on the initial stage of meeting up with my Titan.

Also playing. It's a challenge, but it's a great
Game. And you got it for a good price.

My Titan was kidnapped. I believe I'm now halfway through trying to find him. Currently going through the building production line...

Jump, shoot, walk, shoot wall run, shoot and repeat - LOL

Defintely repetitive. But addicting.

I think a menu with a description of the various icons on the players screen, would help!
And, I guess there is no way to collect 'ammo', one has to simply replace weapons, no?

Maybe I'm just daft, and totally missing it...

You can collect ammo, but you have to get it from a weapon of the same type. When you walk over it, you will collect it (at least that has been the case on my PS4).

Wait, you have to pay for the multiplayer?
