If they take it away what will replace it? Nothing? Just SS and Ceramic again?

Which is surprising that the ceramic has lasted as long as it has, because it’s ridiculously expensive for a smart watch. Apple is very specific with the metals that they use for the watch, but the stainless has the longest longevity, which I suspect is due to the ‘middle ground price point’, where as the titanium/ceramic are generally just not popular enough given the prices.

I'd not lump the Titanium and Ceramic together. I think these are the base prices for the Series 5 with cheapest band:

Stainless steel - $749
Titanium - $849
Ceramic - $1,299

The Ceramic is the outlier. The titanium gave you an extra sport band too over the stainless steel so not that far apart really. I might be wrong on the prices since Apple's website is down but this is what my memory tells me.

Got my Series 6 Titanium with Atlantic Blue Braided Solo Loop order in. Got a 9/25-29 delivery window. Looks like the Titanium was that window from the beginning. Did anyone get a launch day delivery date?

Got the same date, ordered right away also. Didn't see it earlier for these.

Where do you guys see the titanium? They mention it in the press release, but I don't see it in the store?!

It's under Apple Watch now, so choose Apple Watch Series 6, Buy and then in Filter, choose Apple Watch Edition under Model or Titanium under Case Material.

I have a titanium now and don’t want to go titanium again. The blue looks good but if only that could have come with sapphire glass. Might go graphite SS with DLC this time.

And answering again - it's on the website, just not when browsing the EPP store

Got the same problem too - but realised that for EPP, only Series 6 and SE watches are on discount. The Hermes Editions are at RRP.

However, it's already a feat that new products come with EPP discounts on Day 1.

You can't pick the band when buying through EPP, right?

Right, I wasn't expecting any discount, tbh and was surprised to see it. I just went there automatically, didn't realize I was in the EPP store before I saw the weird prices lol

Yep sadly. Apple Watch Studio is not available. Oh well.

Ordered a Natural Ti with Sports Loop. Now my greatest concern is if the SS or Ti versions have sapphire front glass. There's no mention of this in the spec sheet.

I'm trying to confirm that the S6 Ti display is still sapphire. There doesn't appear to be any mention of display material.

I just got off chat with Apple, and they couldn't confirm sapphire either.

What leads you to believe they'd change it this year?

There's no mention of display material anywhere. They mention the back (ceramic/sapphire except for S3), but not the displays. I'm assuming (hoping? haha!!) that SS/Ti will be sapphire like before. Even Apple Chat couldn't confirm.

On another note, the "in the box" section doesn't list a gray sport band included this year. :(

Yeah, saw that!! WTH?? At least we still get the 5w adaptor haha!!

The extra Sport Band is still included. I see it in the 'What's in the Box' section on the Apple Store app. But you are right, there is no mention of the Screen Material. But I doubt they would go backwards from Sapphire Glass to something else.

Ha! Just saw that...thanks for the info. Wish it was a different color though, haha!!

Yeah, I don't think they would ditch sapphire either.
