Here’s the breakdown of how much it weighs. It’s lighter! ⚖️
Interesting. With the weight savings , I though they reduced the battery size to get the same usage time with the lower consumption of the A17.Yes, but I doubt you'd notice the difference.
14 Pro thickness (depth) = 0.31 inch (7.85 mm)
15 Pro thickness (depth) = 0.32 inch (8.25 mm)
Did we get confirmation on a bigger battery? Was a hectic keynote.I take a bigger battery over less weight any day of the week.
Personally I'm on a 12 Pro Max personal (and 13 Mini for work) ... so I am absolutely in the target audience! Looks great for me.Cool but….ill wait until next year. Very meh updates for me.

Exactly! The curved edges, lower weight and width should make them way more comfortable to hold.
(At least for people like me who don't use a case)
Battery is the same if you look on the apple page and compare the 15 pro to the 14 pro.Did we get confirmation on a bigger battery? Was a hectic keynote.
4 US Nickels (or 5 packets of sugar) equal 20 grams, so that should give you an idea. What does 19 grams feel like? How much of a difference will I actually feel?
Yes, definitely. 😉Is the 15 Pro thicker than the 14 Pro?
Have a 3rd party open it up, put a smaller/lighter battery in it & bravo: A lighter iPhone! 😉Still too heavy.
It's more durable than stainless steel? Riiiiight...
For the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, Apple is using a new titanium frame rather than a stainless steel frame, which cuts down on weight. The iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max are approximately nine percent lighter than the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max.

The iPhone 15 Pro weighs 187 grams, down from 206 grams for the iPhone 14 Pro.
The iPhone 15 Pro Max weighs 221 grams, down from 240 grams for the iPhone 14 Pro Max.
Apple's iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus continue to feature a chassis made from aluminum, so there has been no notable weight change with those devices compared to the prior-generation.
Along with lowering the weight of the iPhone, the titanium material is also less prone to fingerprints because of the new brushed finish and it is more durable.

Titanium is valued for several advantages it has over steel (and also aluminium) but strength is not one of them. Its resistance to corrosion from the air (since it forms an oxide layer that stops the oxidation from going any further) and from acids (i.e. its not very reactive). Titanium is less toxic than steel, experiences lower amounts of thermal expansion than steel and has a higher melting point (won't even mention aluminium here since it performs very poorly in these regards). Titanium has higher tensile stength per mass but not by volume. A kilogram of Titanium can take more force than a kilogram of pretty much every other metal. However titanium is not very dense (which gives it its light weight). It's more durable than stainless steel? Riiiiight...
So, we agree with each other? Titanium is a great metal, but it does dent more easily.Titanium is valued for several advantages it has over steel (and also aluminium) but strength is not one of them. Yes - Titanium is 'more durable' in many ways, but NOT stronger. So, we agree with each other? Titanium is a great metal, but it does dent more easily.
God forbid a company try to reduce their destruction of our environment while they uninhibitedly pursue endless, unsustainable growth. What i will always remember from this event: 100% recycled and how bad people are with their carbon footprint…… it’s all part of the new and more taxes we we gonna face in the future.
