I have some video files that were burning perfect for a few months ago. Now when I burn the same files I get a error in the verification process. It says something about bad sector unable to read. How could this happen? The files were fine now bad. I had them on my mbpr and a external hd and Im having problems with both files. Some of them still burn perfect, but a few are bad. Should I try a different burning software? Any recommendations?

I deleted toast and reinstalled and now one of the files burned correctly. Can anyone explain why this is?

I get Bad Sector Errors on virtually every CD/DVD I burn the past year or two using Toast. This is on three different Macs, one of which has very little 3rd-party software installed and plenty of RAM.

Personally, I think Toast has had too many owners/developers working on it and it's just a big frigging mess anymore.
