Hey

I just installed leopard yesterday and noticed a few things. I dont think this has been mentioned yet on the forum, but my quicklook icon is not appearing on my finder. Also i cant get my time machine to look back to find a deleted file. Im not sure if i am just doing this incorrectly or it's not working on my leopard. What do you guys suggest??

Thanks,
Blizz

For quicklook you can just press the spacebar to activate it but to get it to show on the Finder bar right click an empty space at the top and press "Customize Toolbar" a window should now appear, drag the quicklook button to the place you want it.

Re Time Machine, have you setup an external drive to be the TM volume.

You have to right click in your finder window and "Customise Toolbar" to get the Quick Look icon in there, it wasn't default there for me too.

Time Machine backs up once an hour unless you manually force a backup, so if you created and deleted a file before it was backed up, it wont be found, it also can't restore deleted files before you turned it on, incase your doing that :p
