I'm purchasing the surge from north face for school to hold my book a and new MacBook pro 15... I've read many reviews and seen videos but haven't seen anything about people using a hardshell type case in the designated laptop pocket(speck see thru or incase hard shell etc).
Any insight would help, as I am nervous that just throwing the mbp with hard shell in the backpack could get damaged from th e stress of books being pushed on it.
