Wirelessly posted (T-mobile Wing: Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 2_2_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/525.18.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.1.1 Mobile/5H11 Safari/525.20)

Geez had a huge query typed on the ole' iPhone but the page autoscrolled when the keyboard hid causing me to click a link :/

Anyway, questions. I had a harddrive that died. A few days before I used Windows 7 and bootcamp. I've decided this to be coincidence. Has anyone else experienced Win7 problems and hdd malfunction?

Also which is best: install osx and then bootcamp or go ahead and make two partitions pre osx install forgoing bootcamp altogether?

And that's all it is; a coincidence. Windows 7 cannot "kill" your hard drive, just like any other OS can't "kill" your hard drive.

Using the OS X disc, format the whole drive to HFS+ (journaled) and install OS X. Then, after running Software Update in OS X, use Boot Camp to install Windows.
