To buy or not to buy? Wondering whether I should purchase the new Dual 1.42 or wait?

I was going to get an 17" powerbook, cause it's the top of the line "best notebook out there....", so I figured it wont be outdated as fast as the PowerMac and the rest of my plan was to get the PM 970 when it comes out. But, then I started to think to myself- I have been wanting a new computer for about 2 years, and for the last year I've decided to get an Apple....now that I finally have the money, I should get what's the most for my money right now. So, I am glad to say I am ordering a dual 1.25Ghz with 17" apple display in three weeks. But, anyways back to my point, I have wanted/needed this computer for so long, that I am just gonna go with what is out for right now and enjoy it for the time, then maybe if I have the money sell it and upgrade to a 970. This way I will be satisfied now, have a great video editing station, and have an APPLE!
