To iPad Pro 11” owners

hi everyone!

Just one question to the owners.

Do you have on your iPad Pro 2018 11” a sound of the screen if it pressed with a small force in the area of the left edge?

I received the second iPad, and it has the same issue. I checked iFixit teardown and according to their pictures the iPads have empty zone under the screen exactly at the area of that annoying sound.

So maybe all iPads 11” have that issue and I just should relax?

the area a speak about is about one inch from the left edge of the iPad. The sound appears when I press it from both sides.

It’s like clicking sound, in the middle of the screen, about one inch from the left edge. Please check once again. If not, I’ll have to change mine once again(

Nope, just go exchange for a new one. The quality control on this new iPad is horrendous. I’ve had 3 where there are grey smudges on the LCD at the corner

Hi, I checked out a family members iPad Pro, there is a very faint tapping noise when I press an area on the left side of the screen, but can only hear it when it’s quiet, it’s very faint

Just noticed it on my 12.9. Did you get an exchange successfully? I’ve booked a genius appointment - to me it sounds like something is not properly bonded and I’m going to try to get it swapped out.
