Can't remember which thread, could have even been an Apple Watch thread, but some people did recommend returning the product and see if you missed it. If you did, then buy it again,

I think that's more - if you're not 100% thrilled with it and uncertain, then return it.

You can always buy it again later if you change your mind or think it fit into your use after all.

Which makes sense.

Speaking of the Apple Watch - I had one at launch. After a few weeks it somewhat lost it's luster, so I returned it. A few months later, I switched jobs to something where the GPS navigation, alerts, and timers would of been very useful.

So I bought it again, and it turned out to be very useful.

I would just keep the Pro and enjoy it. I do totally understand the financial aspect of it, but I bet you probably will miss it considerably if you return it. It has become my primary tablet, with the exception of my Air 2 for bedtime use.

Thanks to everyone that replied to my post. They were helpful. In the end, I decided to keep the iPad Pro. I don't have any regrets. I went out of town over the weekend, and brought the iPP with the Apple Smart Keyboard. I chose not to bring my MBP for the first time. I did not miss the MBP, and I was glad for the loss in weight of my backpack. I also did not need to remove the iPP from the bag at the airport security line, which was convenient. The trip definitely affirmed my decision.

Back at home, I'm using the iPP a lot more than the MBP. The ASK is always attached to the iPP, so I can use it on my lap while on the couch. It's a great device for, dare I say, consumption.

Thanks again.

When I first got my iPP back during the BF and I was using it close to three weeks. Then I decided to return the iPP. It was nice, size was a bit big at the time. I later picked up the rMB during the BB big sale. I decided to return it after weeks as well. The rMB is a very nice form factor and size, but it is just too slow. Few weeks later, I ended up with iPP again. Man, it is really fast. I thought about the SB, but the cost and issues that it has. I went with IPP. I now got the keyboard and every thing with the iPP. I must say, I am very happy with iPP now. I did most of the light load day to day stuff with just my iPP now. Heavy lifting, I am still turning to 5k 27 iMac or rMBP. If the rMP is as fast as the iPP, I would love to get one. But that current time, I will stick with iPP w/ smart keyboard.

Great to know that the IPP is becoming your main device. From a consumption standpoint, any device which is having a bigger screen with retina level display will win the game hands down.

But if it has started replacing your mbp then guess you used your mbp mostly for consumption. So obviously in that case when you are getting a replacement of your 13" screen laptop in the form of a iPad which is also 13" you will surely shift gear.

Plus it's a new device.. So that 'new device' factor will play around for a few months..

Imagine if when u purchased my iPhone 6s Plus last October it had replaced my mbp and iPad Air for around 2 months wherein I was using my phone most of the time for consumption. But now am back to normal. I use my phone, iPad and laptop as per their own specific needs and convenience. Each of them have their own usages

Many people love their IPP. I did not. I tried it but it just was just not for me. I did like the higher resolution screen and the cellular was plenty fast. I enjoyed using it in vertical mode. But the Logitech Create keyboard only functions in landscape mode. I liked the Apple sim card option from Tmobile $10 for 5 GB. It was mighty nice looking at web pages on it. And the sound!!! The incredible wide stereo separation and bass when playing music was phenomenal. I would have happily kept it had the IIP and Create keyboard had a tract pad and screen pointer like a regular laptop. It was too annoying having to stop typing and tap the screen. For me the Create keyboard was very nearly perfect. It functioned flawlessly every time. Holding the IPP naked for long periods of time was less than satisfying. I had no problem with fingerprints as others have indicated. A quick wipe and it was clean. At the end of the day I decided it was a good effort on Apples' part but just not for this cat. I'm glad however that others find it useful.
