The Apple Watch 7 will be my first Apple Watch so can’t decide how big a 41” and 45” will look on my wrist. I’ve been searching and trying to find accurate scaled sizes of these watches so I could cut out and try on my wrist.

Surely there’s a website that does this?

I want to have the size decided so I can preorder the day it is available.

Yeah I’ve watched in AR but not the same as cutting something out and laying on your wrist.

I don’t remember coming across a scaled 40” or 44” rendition that could be cut out but I’ll search again.

My wrist measured 6.5” too but from what all I’ve read that‘s not the end all be all but more about individual preference. Interesting to know though that someone with a 6.5” wrist the 44” works well.

I did try on my sister’s 40” awhile back and I thought it could have been bigger but not everyone wants to wear an aircraft carrier on their wrist either.

I thought maybe the 41” screen might look a whole lot bigger than a 40” on your wrist but maybe in reality not that much.

Now see that looks really big to me but possibly just the closeup snapshot. Too bad you don’t have a 40” too and you could put them both on as a comparison.

I'd hope that 41 and 45 inches are both at least a little too big for your wrist.

In all seriousness, rule of thumb, if you're a guy (as I’m assuming from your username) and you're anything but super slender and/or very small in stature, 45mm will probably be the right size for you.

If you happen to find yourself near an Apple store, you should be able to stop in and try on the existing 40mm and 44mm models — the 41mm and 45mm models will be almost imperceptibly different in size compared to their predecessors.

Well I live in a rural area so I’d have to drive 200 to 300 miles to find an Apple store so that’s out.

I’m actually coming from a 40“ Galaxy Watch Active 2 and while it’s different shaped from an Apple Watch I did wish it was a hair larger. Also I need to keep in mind if I put a case on it how much larger the end result may be.

Just for the record I’m a 5’7” guy and have small wrists that measured as best as I can tell 6 to 6.5”
