Hi,

Part of me is thinking about returning the watch. Can you just walk into a store with the watch in the box and return it?

Thanks

No the process is troublesome to make you not do that.

You have to print the shipping label, and go to apple store and blablabla

Sounds like you can return it to the store, look toward the bottom of the page here http://store.apple.com/us/help/returns_refund

Bring your item to an Apple Store

You can always return the item to any U.S. Apple Retail Store. An Apple Specialist will assist you with your return. Your refund will be processed at that time. To locate an Apple Store in your area, please refer to the Apple Retail Store Locator.

yes. i walked into the store, found a blue shirt and told them i had a return. she told me i was second in line. then another blue shirt found me.

he started to open the box saying "i just want to see the packaging."

he opened the top of the long plastic box and just kinda looked at it (not the watch) for about 2 seconds, then put it back in the box and processed my return.

never even looked at the watch to see if it was scratched or anything (it wasn't) or tried it to see if it worked (it did).

super easy. i've never had any issues returning anything to apple.

Do you first have to print a label at home??

Don't return it . Put ad on Craigslist and make profit $150-200 easily.

I have a 42mm classic buckle. Not a model in demand. Plus I'd have to use ebay as I'm from the UK and it's too much hassle.

i didn't.... but i see from what others have posted after me that it may be different outside of the US....

(i didn't even need my email with my order number.... he just scanned the serial number and it came up with my name and he was able to do the refund....)

I tried that with a 38mm SS watch and I only had one email from someone asking me to ship the watch overseas. that wasn't an option so I returned the watch to my Apple store. it was quick and painless....

that only works with models like the Space Grey now. my white sports wouldnt sell at all

Sold my silver sport with blue band on eBay for $550.

I have a SG with black sport band on Craigslist and no takers.

Both are 38mm.

My SS with classic band comes tomorrow.

Depends on where you are.
In Germany you have to call Apple, they'll send some service to pick it up

This. Just phoned apple and you have to arrange a courier to pick it up.

It's very fast and easy. Make one call to Apple, they'll assist you with the easiest method for your location. I got mine returned easier than the hassle it took to order it.

And they have returned all the money??

I have been using my watch about 5 days and it's unavoidable not to do some marks in the bands.

Do you think it will be some problem with my refund (ALL the money)??
