iPad mini To those who own an iPad Mini and a Macbook

Get the camera. The Mini can't take photos the way the NEX-5N can. Your MacBook can still surf and listen to music, watch videos, etc.

Any reason why you are not considering a DSLR?

While you could get a dslr, something like that NEX will do a great job.
