I didn't notice anything significant when I upgraded. If Leopard is just fine, then stick with it, Snow Leo doesn't provide anything crucial, just some minor upgrades
I find Snow Leopard to be on par with Tiger in terms of speed (I found Leopard to be very bloated), it's only what $29? I'd say it's cheap enough to upgrade...
I'd say it's a cheap enough upgrade really. I can't think of any big cons you would have, but a definite plus would be that you'll keep getting more updated than leopard. But that's about it really

I gained 7 Gb after upgrading, searches in Finder are a lot quicker in SL and my system shut down/booted lightning fast after the upgrade. I have to say that the fast boot/shutdown only lasted a week or so, things have slowed down since.
