I didn't notice anything significant when I upgraded. If Leopard is just fine, then stick with it, Snow Leo doesn't provide anything crucial, just some minor upgrades

I find Snow Leopard to be on par with Tiger in terms of speed (I found Leopard to be very bloated), it's only what $29? I'd say it's cheap enough to upgrade...

I'd say it's a cheap enough upgrade really. I can't think of any big cons you would have, but a definite plus would be that you'll keep getting more updated than leopard. But that's about it really

Yes, you do gain some HD space and your mac will start up and shut down faster with SL.

I gained 7 Gb after upgrading, searches in Finder are a lot quicker in SL and my system shut down/booted lightning fast after the upgrade. I have to say that the fast boot/shutdown only lasted a week or so, things have slowed down since.
