toast 8 titanium problem

hello, i'm new to mac and i wanted to make a copy of an original dvd, so i tried it using finder - duplicate. everything was ok, but then it showed an error with reading the disc. so i tried toast 8 titanium. but when i tried to make the copy it said the dvd is protected and decryption software is not included. i've no idea what's wrong, it's original dvd. could you help me i would be really glad

Use Handbrake or MacTheRipper...

thank you but i'd like to have all the menus and so there and handbrake and mactherimmer donť seem to keep the dvd in dvd format, eh... like that it is movie, but like divx or so am i right?

MTR will rip the DVD, and give you an Unencrypted video_TS folder.....

Open Toast, click on Video click on From Video_TS and drag your folder into the big window....click the big red button, should be good to go....


I've done this many times with my LEGAL DVD's 🙂
