.toast file fails to mount??

i just downloaded a torrent and it contained a bunch of toast files, all the other files mounted fine but one file says that it contains no mountable file systems... can someone help me ?? it just turns out that this is the most important file of the bunch

Are you trying to mount with Toast or Disk Utility?

You could try using the "verify existing data" feature in your BitTorrent client.
