Toast 11 extreme has been working perfect for me until yesterday. When I burn a file I get an error stating something along the line of unable to read sector can not verify or something. It keeps doing it over and over. Any clue how to correct this? Im burning the same dvd files that I have burned in the past with no issues. I am also using the same type of dvd-r that I alwasys use. Thanks for the help!

Just wondering -- what DVD/CD media have you been using in the past?

It might be useful to try some different media.

I have used Verbatim brand media for years with excellent results.

One other thought -- if Toast keeps "choking" on the _same file_ repeatedly, could it be the file itself is corrupted in some way?

Try DVDMediaInspector v1.1 to compare your older TDKs to the ones you're currently using.

The MediaID or Manufacturer ID is the important indicator.

Also, what kind of "file" are you burning? ISO, MPG, AVI, DMG, etc.

Does the error occur when the burn has completed, or during the burn itself?

And another vote for Verbatim here.
