Does anyone else get an error in Toast Titanium saying there's a medium error? I get it randomly but enough to make really angry. I hate waiting 30 minutes only to find there's been a disk error. I use Toast primarily to make DVD's, usually i use the feature to shrink a dvd down so it can fit on a single layer DVD.

I've used the same disks for a long time, it just recently started happening so I got another brand and tried it but no such luck.

Is there a fix for this? Another program?

If you are burning the disks on your MacBook, are you making sure that you keep the laptop still and don't move it around too much?

yup! Typically when I burn a CD/DVD i put it on my desk. Last time it happened I was in the other room while it was on my desk.

How often do the burns fail? If you inspect the bottom of one of the failed discs, do you see deep scratches or anything that looks abnormal?
