Last week, Apple introduced a special offer on Apple TV+, allowing customers a chance to get the service for just $2.99 per month for three months. This offer is still live today, but it will expire for good tomorrow, April 24.

Only new and qualified returning customers can gain access to this offer. After the three month period ends, your subscription will return to the regular pricing of $9.99 per month.

The offer is available in the Apple TV app, and at tv.apple.com, through April 24. Unfortunately, existing subscribers are not eligible to receive the discount.

The promotion is running in other countries, too. In Canada, for example, the special price is set at $3.99 per month. In the U.K., it is set at £2.99.

With an Apple TV+ subscription, you can watch all of Apple's original shows and films. You can also watch select MLB and MLS games with weekly Friday Night Baseball and Sunday Night Soccer doubleheaders, at no additional cost.

I wish apple had some more modular bundle offers, I would likely stop juggling offers and trials

I pay for Apple Music family plan and take news trials when I can get them. also like having apple tv

I have no interest in cloud storage, arcade or fitness

So I would pay a set amount to just always have those three things and they would get a bit more of my $ month after month without me thinking about

I’m sure I’m not alone

I don’t understand this type of promos, it makes me not wanting to pay. Why if I’m paying monthly I don’t have the benefit of paying less for the next three months?
More people are picking up the subscription through such promos than people are canceling their subscription because of the promo.

What would make sense for fairness is that you could take advantage of the promo if and only if you didn’t already have a promo during your current subscription (such as the first three free months when purchasing a new device).

Will that F1 movie come out within the 3 month time frame? Apple TV+ is just not that appealing to me unfortunately, not nearly enough to justify its price.
